This person assists the General Manager in day to day activities of hotel, leading the property to efficient and profitable operation by performing duties personally or through the department supervisors.He will serve as the General Manager in his absence. As the second in charge, the AGM actively contributes to overall operation of the hotel providing strong leadership to the team.Specificaly this person has direct accountability for quality standards, guest satisfaction, cost control and associate training.In the absence of General Manager he/she is responsible for the physical property as well as the operation, associates and guests.They must be committed to guest satisfaction and provide great guest experience every time.Through complite knowledge of hotel operations, his/her support and motivation will insure that associates make it happen.
