As the Information Age mindlessly lobotomized, SHIELDS TARRY, with the digitized death rattles of personal data--only through the homicidal pursuit of murder or suicide could he recoup his stolen identity PAST OZ. Yet it wasn't any political or religious "ism" that obliterated this corporate executive--it was whiteification. With whiteification being the hi-tech virus that infects until nothing is nothing except "whatever." And once "whatever" becomes the world's lone morality, the Powers-of-Being can recalibrate it to mean that absolutely nothing should be honored, obeyed, or defended; thereby allowing the progressively revised denizens to deny their every hypocrisy with "whatever!" A soullessness fatal to the resurrected SHIELDS TARRY--a man who, once PAST OZ, finally finds his personal redemption in a childhood obsession . . . that of freeing The Almighty from every inhumanity carried out in His name.
